Language and Culture House to move to Preston

After two years at Kappa Sigma, the Language and Culture House decided that the 2010-2011 school year should be the year to change and expand the program. The modern language department opened the Language and Culture House in 2008 as a housing option for dedicated first-year modern language students who wanted to practice their languages on a daily basis.

Campus organizations rush to provide aid to Haiti disaster relief

Headlines are currently sweeping publications across the globe about the tragedy in Haiti. An earthquake that reached a 7.0 on the Richter scale struck on Jan. 12 near Port-Au-Prince, causing widespread damage and destruction. Death tolls are estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands and despite an immediate outpouring of relief, there is still much to be done for the people of Haiti.

LeaderShape inspires students

Another winter break has come to a close, and for many people on Denison's campus, that meant participation in one of the sponsored break activities.The LeaderShape Institute, a national organization which aims to train tomorrow's leaders, had its ninth annual week-long break trip from Jan.
