Turning 21 is a milestone in all of our lives. I remember my 21st birthday like it was yesterday - not in the trite 'I love my life' kind of way but rather in the trendy 'FML' kind of way. The memory of my birthday isn't jarred so much by the fact that it was an abnormally quiet Monday night in London, or that I was already in a country where 18 was the new 21, or that I was surrounded by friends who didn't know my middle name, let alone friends who couldn't even remember to get me a birthday cake; those memories have been frivolousy shaken off.
One of the hardest things to do as a student is to balance work and fun. "Work hard, play hard" is the ideal mindset of a college student who makes the best of both the academic and the social atmosphere of college life. Easier said than done: to master both is unrealistic.
On page 7 of Sept. 29's issue, the article entitled "Kappa Sigma attempts to recharter a chapter" stated that Kappa Sigma is petitioning for readmittance as a colony. As of press time, they were admitted for recolonization and will become an established colony after they recruit new members.
