Things we did not quite accomplish over winter break

Seniors: Figure out life direction, beginning May 17.

Juniors: Polish off applications to killer, hopefully-job-ensuring internships.

Sophomores: Conclude what exactly the purpose is in writing a three-page essay comparing the economic crisis in the U.S. and chosen abroad location.

Freshmen: Decide whether or not to rush in January.

But, let's not forget those who did accomplish something over break:

First, the LeaderShapers. They're everywhere. They loved it. They won't stop talking about it. They make us jealous of their shapely leadership skills.

Next, the Breakawayers. They helped out directly in a variety of social issues. They spread their wings and learned how to fly, making Kelly Clarkson proud.

And finally, the money hungry. They worked to scrap all the money they could get together to have more lee-way spending on the cool new muffins at Jazzman's.

It's okay, Denison. Don't be ashamed if you didn't get everything accomplished; the optimism of January's "New Year's Resolution" period will keep you going until you finally get whatever urgent task completed.
