With the fall colors in full blast at Denison, students can be seen at all hours of the day snapping photos of the picturesque campus. Denison is recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation as a Tree Campus USA. To be a Tree Campus, Denison must meet all 5 standards: forming a campus tree advisory committee, a tree care plan, having funding for its program, observing Arbor Day, and offering a service learning project each year.

Denison has been a recognized Tree Campus for the last 5 years, and the Tree and Landscape Committee has fostered the campus-wide arboretum by achieving accredidation through the Arbor Day Foundation.

There are hundreds of trees on campus, but here are three favorites chosen by the Denisonian staff.
