The DCGA Senate on Oct. 8 began with a presentation from the Division of Student Development about graduate school admission, student-to-administration relationships, academic and co-curricular involvement, religious life, and race and ethnicity at Denison. The senate then held an open discussion with the Student Development staff.
Then, Rules Chair Chris Hoye gave a presentation on the role of DCGA Secretary for the purpose of clarity in the Senate.
Finally, Treasurer Steven Hix presented an additional budget request from the Denison Democrats. This student organization requested funding for the purpose of bringing a well-known speaker to campus, and their budget request was approved by the Senate.
